Sam Fender has joined the line-up for this year's Brit Awards.
The North Shields singer-songwriter will perform at the O2 Arena in London on February 8, joining the previously announced Dave, Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher, Holly Humberstone and Little Simz. Tickets are on sale now for the event, which will be hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan.
The nominations for the Brit Awards were revealed in December, with Sheeran, Simz, Dave and Adele all achieving four nods each. The same month, singer-songwriter Humberstone was awarded the Brit Awards’ Rising Star prize.
In related news, Anne-Marie, Damon Albarn, Becky Hill, Mimi Webb, Craig David, Bastille, and Fontaines D.C. are some of the huge acts set to play intimate London gigs in February as part of War Child’s Brits Week.
UPDATE Feb 1: Doja Cat has had to pull out of performing at the Brits due to members of her crew testing positive for COVID-19. Read her full statement below.
