Charli XCX Joins Line-Up For New Bristol Festival Forwards

Charli XCX has been announced as the final headline act for a new music festival in Bristol.
Forwards will take place on Clifton Downs green space in the city in September, with a capacity of 60,000 over two days.
The singer will take to the stage on Saturday, following sets from Jamie XX, Little Simz, Khruangbin, and more. The Chemical Brothers will top the bill on Sunday, joined by Róisín Murphy, Self Esteem, Kae Tempest, Caribou, and Sleaford Mods, among others.

What? A new two-day inner-city music festival promoted by the same team behind Coachella in California and London's BST Hyde Park festivals.

Who? Charli XCX will headline the Saturday, following sets from the previously announced Jamie XX, Little Simz, Khruangbin, Kojey Radical, Fred again.., Floating Points, Shygirl, Overmono (Live), Sudan Archives and Chrissi. There will also be performances from Kam-Bu, Ishmael Ensemble and Friends, Willow Kayne, and Harvey Causon.
The Chemical Brothers will top the bill on Sunday, preceded by sets from Róisín Murphy, Self Esteem, Kae Tempest, Caribou, Sleaford Mods, The Comet Is Coming, Gabriels, and Connie Constance. Other acts include Spiritualized, Warmduscher, Billy Nomates, Melt Yourself Down, Rozi Plain, and Hypothetics.
