Inspired by the classic R&B records made at Alabama's Muscle Shoals Studios, the soulful, groove-heavy Living With Your Memory marks the latest taster of the singer-songwriter's new Butch Walker-produced studio album, 'Freewheelin''.
It follows the previously shared cuts Long Way 'Round and Dancing Slow featuring Train. She said:
"This song is a really fun one for me. It tells a story that illustrates the power of our memories. Sometimes we look back on past loves, and remember things better than they were. When living with the memory of a past love is better than the reality of living with the actual person, you get a song like this!"
Jewel's first new studio album in seven years is due out on April 15 via her own Words Matter Music. Following that, she'll join Train and Blues Traveler on their North American tour this summer.
