Ash will celebrate the 21st anniversary of 'Free All Angels' with three UK shows.
The Northern Ireland band will reunite with guitarist Charlotte Hatherley to perform the 2001 album in full at Manchester's O2 Ritz, Birmingham's O2 Institute, and London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on September 15, 17 and 18, respectively. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 27. Drummer Rick McMurray commented:
"We're delighted to announce that we will be commemorating the 21st anniversary of the release of our 2001 classic, 'Free All Angels'. Not least because we will be joined by the fourth member of Ash, guitarist extraordinaire, all-round Shining Light, the one and only, Charlotte Hatherley. Can. Not. Wait."
A reissue of 'Free All Angels' will be released on vinyl on September 16 to coincide with the gigs. Their 1996 debut LP, '1977', will also be reissued on July 1. Go here for details.
Ash's last studio album was 2018's 'Islands'.
