Dry Cleaning have shared details of their second album.
The follow-up to their 2021 debut 'New Long Leg' is called 'Stumpwork' and will arrive on October 21 via 4AD. It was produced by John Parish, who also helmed its predecessor, and who has previously worked with PJ Harvey, Eels, Aldous Harding, and Dry Cleaning, to name a few.
Alongside the news, the London-based post-punks have released the new single Don't Press Me, a sub-two-minute, guitar-led, indie-pop track that's guided by singer Florence Shaw's dry, subdued vocals.
It arrives with an animated video directed by Peter Millard, and comes just as the group embark on a run of festival dates, including Glastonbury, Green Man Festival, and All Points East in the UK.
'Stumpwork' tracklist:
1. Anna Calls From The Arctic
2. Kwenchy Kups
3. Gary Ashby
4. Driver’s Story
5. Hot Penny Day
6. Stumpwork
7. No Decent Shoes For Rain
8. Don’t Press Me
9. Conservative Hell
10. Liberty Log
11. Icebergs
