Johnny Depp And Jeff Beck Post Cover Of The Velvet Underground's Venus In Furs

Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck have shared a cover of Venus In Furs.
The Velvet Underground track serves as the latest preview of the duo's upcoming collaborative LP, '18', due out on July 15. It'll also feature the pair tackling songs by The Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, and The Everly Brothers, along with two original tracks penned by Depp, including the recent cut This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr.
Driven by fuzzed-out guitar, the new version stays pretty faithful to the original, though it sounds more menacing with deep, sludgy bass and chilling vocals from Depp.
