Pixies will play an intimate Manchester show tomorrow (July 19).
The Boston rockers will headline the 500-capacity Band On The Wall, with tickets on sale now. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the venue's The World of Music learning programme.
The gig follows their appearances at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl and London's Hyde Park — where they performed as special guests to Pearl Jam.
Pixies will release their new album, 'Doggerel', on September 30 via BMG. Prior to that, they'll headline the rescheduled Bingley Weekender in August and End Of The Road festival in September.
The band will also resume their Come On Pilgrim… It’s Surfer Rosa Tour in Australia and New Zealand in December.
