Manic Street Preachers and Suede Line Up Co-Headline North American Tour For November

Manic Street Preachers and Suede have announced a co-headline North American tour.
The Welsh rockers and London band will kick off the trek together at PNE Forum in Vancouver on November 3 and wrap it up at Massey Hall in Toronto on November 24. Suede’s Brett Anderson said:
“I can’t think of a band I’d rather share a stage with than the Manic Street Preachers. They have long been an inspiration to us, and I know there are thousands of Suede fans who feel the same. It’s nearly 30 years since we last played together and I think these shows are going to be something really special.”
The trek will also include stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Silver Spring, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Boston. The bands will alternate who closes each night. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on September 16. Manic Street Preachers commented:
“We first toured with Suede in 1994 when we played with them all across Europe. Back then, it always felt like both our bands shared a certain kind of kinship, both aesthetically and historically. It still feels that way now, nearly three decades later.”
“This joint tour feels like a fantastic opportunity for both our sets of fans to share an amazing live experience. And to do this in the USA and Canada in 2022 makes it even more special as our tours there are so rare these days. We truly can't wait.”
Manics recently released an anniversary edition of their 2001 album 'Know Your Enemy', though their last studio album was 2021's 'The Ultra Vivid Lament'.
Suede, meanwhile, are gearing up to release their new LP, 'Autofiction', this Friday (September 16). They'll support it with a UK tour in spring 2023, tickets for which go on sale at 9am the same day their new record arrives. Head here for details.
