Razorlight To Reunite Classic Line-Up For Razorwhat? UK Tour In April

Razorlight have announced the Razorwhat? Tour: The Best Of Razorlight.
The trek, which will be their first with the classic line-up in 10 years, will head to venues in Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Norwich, Sheffield, Oxford, Bristol, Bournemouth and London, where they'll finish up the run at the O2 Academy Brixton on April 29.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 18. Discussing the reunion, drummer and vocalist Andy Burrows said:
“I had to go and chat with Johnny and make things good. If I didn’t, I’d have gone on thinking about it for the rest of my life, that we should’ve met up, we should’ve played together again, it was too special to leave behind.”
Burrows left the band in 2009 to pursue other projects, but Razorlight continued without him. Now back together, the band is completed by frontman Johnny Borrell, multi-instrumentalist Björn Ågren, Carl Dalemo on bass, keyboards and piano, and Reni Lane on keyboards.
The tour shares its name with the London rockers' new Best Of album, 'Razorwhat? The Best Of Razorlight', which is due out on December 9. It brings together 11 of their best tracks with two new songs, You Are Entering The Human Heart and Violence Forever?.
“My trust with Andy was at absolute zero so to get that back was really inspiring,” explained Borrell. “That’s never happened before and it made me think a lot about my life, like if I can get my trust back with Andy, I could do it with anybody.”
“Whilst our relationship hasn’t always been plain sailing, when Johnny and I sit down to write music together, there’s a magic that happens. I’m so grateful to have him and the band back in my life,” shared Burrows.
Razorlight returned with new single Call Me Junior this summer. Their last studio album was 2018's 'Olympus Sleeping'.
