Nova Twins, Ghost, Architects And Vukovi Among Finalists For Heavy Music Awards

The finalist have been announced for this year's Heavy Music Awards.
Architects, Bad Omens, Halestorm, Nova Twins (pictured), Slipknot and Vukovi are all competing for Best Album, with Vukovi and Nova Twins also in the running for Best UK Artist alongside Bob Vylan, Creeper, Holding Absence, Malevolence and Sleep Token.
2000trees, Aftershock, BMTH Malta Weekender, Download, Hellfest, Outbreak and Slam Dunk are all up for Best Festival, and Best International Live Artist will be between Alexisonfire, Electric Callboy, Ghost, Halestorm, My Chemical Romance, Parkway Drive and Turnstile.
The Heavy Music Awards will take over the 12, 500 capacity OVO Arena Wembley in London on May 26, moving from their previous home at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Organiser Andy Pritchard said:
“For us, it’s another chance to send the wider world a reminder that there is life-affirming, vital music being created every single day by people from all backgrounds. Since we started this journey in 2017, we’ve been committed to building the HMAs, and kicking down as many walls as we can to give these incredible artists a platform they can be proud of. Staging the biggest ever rock awards show is our most ambitious step yet, but we’ll keep pushing. We can’t wait to welcome everyone for what will be a crazy and memorable night in May!”
