Blur have announced four intimate UK shows for next month.
Acting as warm-up for their European festival sets and huge headline concerts in Dublin and London this summer, the Britpop legends have lined up gigs at Colchester Arts Centre, Eastbourne’s Winter Gardens, Newcastle’s O2 City Hall and The Halls in Wolverhampton during May, with the latter acting as the re-opening event for the venue.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 28.
The band last reunited back in 2009, ending a hiatus that started after their world tour supporting 2003’s ’Think Tank’ LP. Since then, vocalist Damon Albarn has put out three solo albums and a new record with Gorillaz.
Coxon, meanwhile, has been busy with The Waeve, and Rowntree released his debut solo LP in January.
