The inductees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2023 have been announced.
Kate Bush (pictured), Rage Against The Machine, Willie Nelson, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Sheryl Crow and The Spinners made the cut, with Soundgarden, The White Stripes, Cyndi Lauper, Joy Division/New Order, A Tribe Called Quest, Iron Maiden and Warren Zevon missing out.
Chaka Khan, Al Kooper, and Bernie Taupin will receive the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Musical Excellence Award, while DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray will be honoured with the Musical Influence Award. The Ahmet Ertegun Award, which recognizes non-performing industry professionals, will go to the late creator and host of Soul Train, Don Cornelius.
Artists become eligible for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first recording.
