Presented by Myleene Klass, featuring Alfie Boe (pictured) and music performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, the show will open the BST Hyde Park concert series on June 23.
It will take fans on a journey through both traditional and modern classical music, exploring the history and stories behind the repertoire and how they relate to contemporary music. Klass commented:
"I’m beyond excited to be a part of making history as I host the first ever Classical BST at Hyde Park. With a programme of classical and movie music that all ages know and love, helping to bring a concert like this into the heart of London is an honour."
Other acts set to headline the BST Hyde Park series include Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, BLACKPINK, Guns N’ Roses, Take That, P!nk, Billy Joel and Lana Del Rey. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
