Wu-Tang Clan, Mary J. Blige And More Announced For New York Hip Hop Forever 50th Anniversary Concert

A star-studded line-up has been unveiled for a new hip hop 50th anniversary show in New York City.
Curated by Hot 97 radio station DJ Funk Flex, the huge Hip Hop Forever celebratory concert will take place on September 15 at Madison Square Garden.
Acts announced for the line-up so far include Wu-Tang Clan, Mary J. Blige, EPMD, Tyrese, and Sean Paul, plus special guests Mariah Carey and Maxwell. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (June 16).
The show will take place a month after the recently announced Hip Hop 50 Live event, another tribute concert set up to mark the genre’s 50th anniversary, which will take place at Yankee Stadium with Run-DMC, Lil Kim, Snoop Dogg and more set to perform.
