The Hives Release New Single Countdown To Shutdown

The Hives have shared a new song.
Countdown To Shutdown is the latest taster of their new album, 'The Death of Randy Fitzimmons', following the previously shared opening track, Bogus Operandi.
The new single offers up the high-octane punk-rock that has become their staple, and arrives with an equally entertaining video that doubles as a good stress reliever if you've had a bad day at the office. Frontman Howlin’ Pelle said:

The follow-up to 2012's 'Lex Hives', and their 2020 'Live At Third Man Records' LP, is due for release on August 11. The Swedish rockers are supporting it with shows across the UK supporting Arctic Monkeys on their stadium tour. They also have their own gig lined up at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms on June 22.
