Sundara Karma Return With New Single Friends Of Mine

Wednesday, 28 June 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Sundara Karma are back with a new single, Friends Of Mine.

Launching a new era for the band, the lively track fizzes around a combination of driving guitar riffs and relentless percussion, but still with a nod to the indie-rock roots heard on their 2017 debut, 'Youth Is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect'. Vocalist Oscar Pollock said:

"We had a lot of fun making this album, and Friends of Mine is just a taste of what's to come. It's an ode to friendship and sounds reminiscent of what we were doing on our first album. We can't wait for our fans to experience the full album and see us play these new songs live!"

The band's most recent studio record is 2019's 'Ulfilas' Alphabet', which marked a departure from their first record. In 2022, they dropped the electro-pop-orientated 'Oblivion!' EP.
