Stormzy and Raye have teamed up for a new single, The Weekend.
Helmed by British producer London, the romantic R&B-infused track delivers tongue-in-cheek lyrics across airy synths and choral backing vocals. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Omar Jones.
It follows the South London grime star's Fredo-assisted single Toxic Trait, and his subsequent freestyle, Longevity Flow.
Stormzy's most recent album is 2022's 'This Is What We Mean'. He'll curate and top the bill of his own All Points East show on August 18 at London's Victoria Park. Billed as This Is What We Mean Day, it'll feature performances from Kehlani, Sampha, Knucks, Lucky Daye, WSTRN, Ms Banks and The No Signal Stage, among others.
Raye, meanwhile, will head to London's Royal Albert Hall on September 26 for a performance of her debut album, 'My 21st Century Blues', accompanied by an orchestra and choir. She also has a UK and European tour in the diary for the autumn.
