Stormzy—real name Michael Omari—is a grime and hip hop rapper from Thornton Heath, London. A multi award winner and Mercury Prize nominee, he has won Best Grime Act twice at the MOBO Awards and BBC's Artist of the Year Award, among many other high-profile honours.
Starting his music career in 2010, he released his debut EP, 'Dreamers Disease', in 2014. His debut studio LP, 2017's 'Gang Signs & Prayer', was the first grime album to reach number one on the UK's Official Album Chart, also winning British Album of the Year at the Brit Awards in 2018. His sophomore album, 'Heavy Is The Head,' was released in 2019 to widespread critical acclaim, going on to headline Glastonbury, Belfast's Belsonic, Wireless and TRNSMT festival that same year. He dropped his third LP, 'This Is What I Mean', in 2022. Stormzy will headline Roskilde Festival in Denmark in July 2025.
