Animal Collective have shared details of a new album.
The follow-up to 2021's 'Time Skiffs' is titled 'Isn't It Now?' and will arrive on September 29 via Domino. Recorded by Avey Tare, Panda Bear, Deakin, and Geologist with Grammy Award-winning producer Russell Elevado, it comprises nine tracks and was first previewed in June with the 22-minute epic Defeat, and the subsequent live favourite King's Walk earlier in July.
Today, the four-piece have shared a further teaser in the form of the record's opening track, Soul Capturer, which offers a woozy, psychedelic aesthetic through reverberating guitars and vocal harmonies.
In May, Animal Collective reissued their 2000 debut album, 'Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished'.
'Isn't It Now?' tracklist:
1. Soul Capturer
2. Genie’s Open
3. Broke Zodiac
4. Magicians From Baltimore
5. Defeat
6. Gem & I
7. Stride Rite
8. All The Clubs Are Broken
9. King’s Walk
