Bombay Bicycle Club Release New Single Diving Featuring Holly Humberstone

Bombay Bicycle Club have enlisted Holly Humberstone for a new single called Diving.
The sparse acoustic duet will feature on the British band's sixth studio album, 'My Big Day', due out on October 20 via AWAL. Vocalist Jack Steadman said:
"Diving is a song about that summer you have when you’re 15, the memory of which conjures up such a unique feeling. You’re discovering everything for the first time and the world seems as scary and exhilarating as diving off a tall cliff into a lake. Holly is the perfect fit for this song. Her music perfectly captures those feelings of early life, and her voice gives the whole song so much emotion."
Humberstone and Steadman previously teamed up on a version of Friendly Fire, from the Lincolnshire-born artist's 2021 EP 'The Walls Are Way Too Thin'. Her debut album, 'Paint My Bedroom Black', is due out on October 13 through Polydor Records.
Bombay Bicycle Club previously shared the title track from their record, which features other special guest appearances from the likes of Damon Albarn, Jay Som and Nilüfer Yanya. Their last LP was 2020’s 'Everything Else Has Gone Wrong'.
Following the summer, they'll hit the road for a run of tiny shows in association with record stores, before a European tour in November.
