Slowdive have released a third track from their upcoming album.
The Slab will appear alongside the previously shared Skin In The Game and Kisses on 'Everything Is Alive', due out on September 1 via Dead Oceans.
A hypnotic and droning song, its shoegazey guitars, shimmering synths and ethereal vocals bring the record to a climactic end. Vocalist-guitarist Neil Halstead commented:
"This is the heaviest track on the record and as the name suggests we wanted it to feel like a big slab of music. We wanted it to feel very dense."
The band will play Green Man festival later in August, before a North American tour in September. Following that, they'll return for UK and Ireland shows in the autumn.
