Peter Gabriel Confirms Release Date For 'i/o' Album

Peter Gabriel has announced the release date for his long-teased 10th studio album.
After releasing one new song each full moon throughout 2023, the British art-rock artist has revealed that the 12-track 'i/o' will arrive in full on December 1. He said:
"After a years-worth of full moon releases, I’m very happy to see all these new songs back together on the good ship 'i/o' and ready for their journey out into the world."
Recorded at Real World Studios and Gabriel's home studio, the record will be presented in the form of two different stereo mixes, the Bright-Side Mix by Mark 'Spike' Stent, and the Dark-Side Mix by Tchad Blake. A deluxe box set will follow on March 2024, collecting all formats together as a double-CD, four-LP and the Blu-ray package.
Gabriel will continue his current North American tour with a show in Austin tonight (October 18), the first of three shows in Texas that will conclude the run.
