James Arthur To Play Huge Homecoming Show At Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium In June

James Arthur has announced a massive homecoming concert for next summer.
The singer and songwriter from Middlesbrough will headline the town's Riverside Stadium on June 8. For his biggest show to date, he'll be joined by special guests McFly and Lauran Hibberd.
Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday (November 10). He said:
“It's truly unbelievable. I don't think that I can put it into words. As someone who came to the Riverside as a young lad with a season ticket and walked through the turnstiles, it’s just crazy to think that people are going to be walking through the turnstiles to watch me perform. It’s very much like the end of a movie, a full circle moment.
“It has been bit of a pipe dream of mine to play my team’s ground; I'm really honoured.”
Arthur is gearing up to release his new album, 'Bitter Sweet Love', which is due out on January 26. We've already heard the singles Just Us, A Year Ago and Blindside. He'll support it with a UK and Ireland arena tour next spring. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
