The Black Keys have shared another track from their upcoming album.
Originally penned by William Bell and Booker T. Jones, I Forgot To Be Your Lover marks the second preview of 'Ohio Players', due out on April 5.
First released by Bell in 1968, the song has been given a bluesy revamp by the American Grammy Award-winning duo, who offer slow and soulful grooves completed by a lush string arrangement. Press play below.
It'll be joined on the record by the previously unveiled cut Beautiful People (Stay High). The LP is also set to feature collaborations with Noel Gallagher, Beck and Greg Kurstin.
Ahead of its release, a Jeff Dupre documentary about the band, This Is a Film About the Black Keys, will receive its world premiere at the 2024 edition of SXSW festival.
