Kasabian have confirmed the release date for their eighth studio album, 'Happenings'.
The follow-up to 2022's 'The Alchemist’s Euphoria' will arrive on July 5 via Columbia and feature their summer 2023 single Algorithms, as well as the new fresh, dance-infused Call, the first song frontman Serge Pizzorno wrote for the record.
The LP was penned and initially recorded at Pizzorno's home studio, The Sergery, before final sessions were co-produced by the singer and Mark Ralph. On the new song, Pizzorno commented:
"This was the launchpad. Quieter on the verses, loud for the chorus – it’s dance music! The first bit is where you get ready, the second bit is where we all go crazy. It’s really fun and just feels like now.
"When I finished the track, I felt I wanted to go to a gig by whoever was behind it. Everything for this album was informed by that way of working."

Kasabian will top the bill at Latitude in Suffolk this summer, following a huge hometown show at Leicester's Victoria Park on July 6. They'll also support Liam Gallagher as part of Belfast Vital in August. Tickets are on sale now.
