Gel have shared the title track of their upcoming EP.
With 'Persona' due out via Blue Grape Music on August 16, the aggressive hardcore track follows on from the April single Mirage in previewing the New Jersey firebrand's five-track project, which was produced and engineered by Jon Markson. Vocalist Sami Kaiser said:
"We really wanted to fill out the songs more and make them more nuanced. It’s a step forward, it’s different, it’s catchy, but it still really sounds like us."
Having played Download festival and a series of headline UK shows earlier this month, the band will perform at Vainstream Rockfest in Münster, Germany tomorrow (June 28), before a slot at Hellfest on the weekend. They've also scheduled an extensive North American tour for September and October. Head here for details.
