Ms. Lauryn Hill & The Fugees Cancel US Leg Of The Celebration Continues Tour

Ms. Lauryn Hill and The Fugees have quietly cancelled their upcoming US tour dates.
The US leg of The Celebration Continues Tour was scheduled to commence this Friday (August 9) in Tampa, Florida, with dates lined up until September 21. Now, however, the trek has been cancelled just days before it was due to start, with no official announcement from Hill or the group.
The tour dates remain available on Hill’s official website, though all of their US gigs have been removed from ticket seller websites, and ticket holders received notices about receiving refunds on Tuesday (August 6), though no reason was offered for the cancellation. It marks the third year in a row that Hill and her reunited group have cancelled some or all of their tour dates.
The autumn UK and European leg of the tour currently seems intact, with shows in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Cologne, Paris, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Stockholm, Berlin and Hamburg still set to take place between October 7 and November 1. Tickets are on sale now.
The performances will see both acts honouring the vocalist's landmark album, 1998's 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill', and The Fugees' second and final LP, 1996's 'The Score'.
