The anthemic hip hop track features rising Florida rapper BossMan Dlow and marks the American R&B artist's second release of 2024, following on from her remix of Hulvey's hit Altar.
Co-written by Ciara, Theron Thomas and Courtlin Jabrae, it's produced by JR Rotem, who also helmed her 2018 hit Level Up. Ciara said:
"Run It Up is about staying focused on the hustle and grind to achieve your dreams while remaining unbothered and blessed."
The track arrives amid Ciara's run of dates supporting Missy Elliott on the Out Of This World Tour across North America.
Ciara released her 'CiCi' EP in 2023. She put out her latest album and seventh overall, 'Beauty Marks', in 2019. In September, she'll reissue her 2004 debut album, 'Goodies', on vinyl and digitally, to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
