Mary J. Blige Releases New Single Breathing Featuring Fabolous

Mary J. Blige is back with a new track.
Breathing is the R&B icon's second solo single since the release of her latest album, 2022's 'Good Morning Gorgeous'. The first was 2023's Stil Believe In Love.
The new track features Fabolous, who Blige co-wrote the song with alongside Jocelyn “Jozzy” Donald, PurpleKBeats and Jay Hawkins, with production handled by Shaun "S Dot" Thomas. It features samples of The Notorious B.I.G's Kick In The Door and I Put A Spell On You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, though the vocalist also took inspiration from Nina Simone’s version of I Put a Spell on You.
The song's accompanying video will premiere on YouTube at 11am EST today (August 16).
