The Weeknd Announces Australian After Hours Til Dawn Tour Dates For October

The Weeknd will bring his After Hours Til Dawn Tour to Australia later in 2024, after initially postponing and then cancelling his 2023 dates.
The Canadian superstar, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, will take over Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on October 5 and 6, before back-to-back performances at Sydney's Accor Stadium on October 22 and 23.
Special guests Mike Dean, Chxrry22, and Australian DJ and vocalist Anna Lunoe will support on all dates, and tickets go on general sale at 1pm local time on August 26. The Weeknd said:
"I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn't forgotten about you. When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!"
The dates mark The Weeknd's first visit to Australia since 2017 and come after the original 2023 Australian and New Zealand leg was cancelled. Unfortunately, shows in Brisbane and New Zealand, which previously featured on his 2023 itinerary, have not been announced for the singer's return.
The dates will support The Weeknd's last two albums, 2020's 'After Hours' and 2022's 'Dawn FM'.
The Weeknd will also perform a one-off concert at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo, Brazil next month. The event on September 7 will debut an all-new live production. Tickets are on sale now.
