Fontaines D.C. Share New Single In The Modern World Ahead Of 'Romance' Release

Fontaines D.C. have shared another song from their upcoming album.
The slow-burning, string-laden ballad In The Modern World serves as the fourth single from 'Romance', due out this Friday (August 23). It follows the record's previously unveiled cuts Starburster, Favourite and Here's The Thing.

Fontaines D.C. will celebrate 'Romance' with an intimate release show at London's Electric Ballroom tomorrow (August 22). They'll also appear at Reading and Leeds this coming weekend.
The five-piece will then embark on a previously scheduled North American tour in the fall, before UK and European dates in the winter.
Next summer, the group will take over London's Finsbury Park on July 5 for their biggest headline show to date. Support will come from Australian punk-rockers Amyl and the Sniffers, Belfast hip hop trio Kneecap and more acts that are yet to be revealed. Tickets are on sale now.
