Caribou Announces Sixth Album 'Honey'. Posts New Single Come Find Me

Dan Snaith has announced a sixth Caribou album.
The Canadian producer will drop 'Honey', his first full-length release in four years, on October 4 via Merge. Comprising 12 songs, it'll feature the previously unveiled title track, as well as the recent singles Volume and Broke My Heart, plus the newly shared Come Find Me, a melodic, clubby track that fuses vocals samples with '90s French house music. Snaith said:
"I love this kind of chord sequence and the sort of French touch type of vibe, but it took a lot of time to find the right vocal hook and breakdown and make it more pop and concise. When I play that one in DJ sets, when it drops down to just the singing and then suddenly it’s a song that surges back in—I know for a fact no one in the crowd has heard it before, and yet people always respond in this really emotionally charged, euphoric way…That’s always the best litmus test that a track has come together in the right way."
Caribou has also confirmed four intimate shows at London's Waiting Room between September 8 and 11, with free tickets available via a ballot tomorrow (August 29) at 10am BST on Caribou's Instagram page. He'll also tour the UK and Europe early in 2025, following a run of North American dates this fall. Tickets for those shows are on sale now.
Snaith's last album under the Caribou moniker is 2020's 'Suddenly', which was followed by 'Suddenly Remixes' in 2021.
