Tom Walker has shared the title track of his upcoming album, 'I Am'.
The song unfurls across the gentle rise and fall of Walker's vocals, underpinned by subdued beats and keys. Commenting on the title of the record, which is due out on September 20, he said:
"I’ve called it 'I Am' because it's the culmination of me trying to figure out who I am for the last four years. This record is a snapshot of what's been going on in my life, and what's been happening around me – what's made me happy or sad, ecstatic or miserable."
Arriving off the back of a UK and European festival run, I Am follows on from the record's previously unveiled cuts Burn, Freaking Out, Head Underwater, Lifeline and Holy Ghost.
The singer-songwriter will support the follow-up to his chart-topping debut, 2019's 'What a Time to Be Alive', with UK in-store performances that stretch into the autumn. Head here for details.
He'll also play UK and European arena shows supporting The Script in November and December. Tickets are on sale now.
