Kid Cudi Shares New Single Don't Worry Featuring Chip Tha Ripper

Wednesday, 18 September 2024 Written by Jon Stickler

Kid Cudi has released a new single.

Described by the Grammy-winning artist as an "ode to New York"Don’t Worry features long-term collaborator Chip Tha Ripper and arrives alongside issue #4 of Cudi's comic book series, Moon Man, out now via Image Comics

The track finds the rapper reflecting on his time in New York over captivating, spacey (see what we did there) production, and comes with a self-directed video filmed on the city's streets. A message at the start of the clip reads: "I moved to NY in 2004. Over the years it became my second home. To the people of NY, this is my love letter to you. Thank you for always making me feel like family."

The hip hop artist also intends to release 'Kid Cudi Presents The Soundtrack of Moon Man' "very soon." In January, he put out his most recent album, 'Insano', which was followed by 'Insano (Nitro Mega)', a companion record that featured Wiz Khalifa, Chip Tha Ripper, Pusha T, Lil Yachty, Steve Aoki, and more.

Cudi was forced to cancel his Insano World Tour after breaking his foot at California's Coachella Festival in April.
