Rahim Redcar has announced his new album.
Entirely written, produced and mixed by Rahim, who formerly released music under the Christine and the Queens moniker, 'Hopecore' will arrive this Friday (September 27), introducing a new era for French artist Héloïse Létissier, who said:
"Hopecore was made with tears, blood, and mostly an unwavering faith in the raw, pure expression of the soul. Music took here its full prophetic vastness, got wilder, and called for an absolute quest where no one else came in to tamper with intentions. A call of the flesh, a prayer for justice and freedom."
It'll feature the dancey new single Deep Holes, which is propelled by a clubby four-on-the-floor beat. Check out its video below.
Rahim is planning to perform 'Hopecore' at a handful of club shows, details of which are to be revealed soon.
The new record will follow their 2023 LP 'PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE', and more recently the summer single That's Us/Wild Combination and French-language song Rentrer Chez Moi, which arrived in April.
'Hopecore' tracklist:
1. FORGIVE 8888888
2. ELEVATE
3. INS8DE OF ME
4. DEEP HOLES
5. RED BIRDMAN EMERGENCY
6. OPERA - I UNDERSTAND
7. MANUELA DANSE
