Sigur Rós Confirm Royal Albert Hall Shows With The London Contemporary Orchestra For 2025

Sigur Rós have announced four orchestral shows in London for autumn 2025.
The Icelandic post-rock group will be accompanied by the London Contemporary Orchestra and conductor Robert Ames for their first ever shows at the iconic Royal Albert Hall between September 30 and October 3.
The performances form part of a European trek, with the trio set to showcase their latest album, 2023's 'Átta', plus tracks from their back catalogue, at famous orchestral venues, including Rome's Sala Santa Cecilia, Paris' Salle Playel, Brussels' Bozar and the Konzerthaus in Vienna.
Sigur Rós also have performances lined up in Japan, Taiwan and Singapore in February, and Australia in May. Other orchestras the band will be collaborating with next year include the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra, Resound Collective, Brisbane Philharmonic and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets for the London concerts go on general sale from 10am local time on Thursday (October 17). Tickets for the European and Australian shows go on sale from 10am local time today (October 14) and Friday (October 18), depending on the region.
Sigur Rós wrapped up a North American orchestral tour earlier this month, and play shows in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland this November and December. Tickets for their 2024 performances are on sale now.
