U2 have shared a new song called Happiness.

Built around an imposing drum and bass stomping rhythm, it'll feature on 'How To Re-Assemble An Atomic Bomb', an upcoming "shadow album" that features 10 songs taken from the recording sessions of the rock legends' 2004 studio album 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb'.

Happiness follows the previously shared Country Mile and a remastered version of Picture Of You (X+W) in previewing the new collection. Other previously unheard songs among the tracklist include Treason, Evidence Of Life, and Luckiest Man In The World.

The Irish band will release 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (Re-Assemble Edition), containing both the eight-time Grammy-winning 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' and 'How To Re-Assemble An Atomic Bomb', on November 22 to celebrate the record's 20th anniversary. The standalone shadow album will be released on November 29.

U2 were the first band to play the Sphere venue in Las Vegas, Nevada, which opened in September 2023. Their U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere residency featured 40 concerts between September 29, 2023 and March 2, 2024. They launched the series with the release of their first original new song in two years, Atomic City.
