Roger Daltrey has announced the Alive And Kicking..And Having Fun! UK Tour.

The renowned rock vocalist will play shows in Brighton, London, Southend-on-Sea, Wolverhampton, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Gateshead and Manchester between April 20 and May 4. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (November 15).

The tour will see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee playing classic The Who tracks and his solo hits, as well as there being a Q&A session with his fans.

Although he will perform acoustically and semi-acoustically, he'll be accompanied by a nine-piece band: Simon Townshend (guitar/ vocals), John Hogg (bass), Doug Boyle (guitar), Steve Weston (harmonica), Jody Linscott (percussion), Billy Nicholls (BV), Katie Jacoby (violin), Geraint Watkins (keyboard), and Scott Devours (drums). Daltrey said:

“Here we go again! After touring the US with this band of phenomenal musicians, I can’t wait to get back on the road in the UK with these shows.

"It’s a joy to be on stage performing - up close and personal for the audience, chatting with them and playing familiar songs in an unfamiliar way.”

Daltrey's last solo studio album was 2018's 'As Long As I Have You', which he followed up with the live LP 'The Who's Tommy Orchestral' in 2019.
