Public Image Ltd Announce This Is Not The Last Tour Of The UK And Ireland For Summer 2025

Public Image Ltd have announced the This Is Not The Last Tour.
The John Lydon-led band will play headline shows in Bristol, Bournemouth, Barnsley, Newcastle, Norwich, Dublin, Limerick, Cardiff, Hastings, Oxford, Leicester, Lincoln, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Northampton, Holmfirth, Coventry and Cork between May 22 and August 15.
Pre-sale tickets for select UK shows will go live via Gigantic at 10am on Thursday (November 14), ahead of general sale at 10am on Friday (November 15).
A statement on PiL's Facebook page explains that Lydon was unsure if he'd tour again following the passing of his wife Nora in April 2023, then his friend and manager John Rambo Stevens in December 2023, who died suddenly after the last PiL tour. However, he changed his mind due to the outpouring of love and support from his fans during his spoken word tour of the UK this spring. The former Sex Pistols frontman said:
“I thought that might be it. After losing Nora, and Rambo, I couldn’t see a way through. I’d already committed to the spoken word tour, this spring, and I never let anyone down – I always stick to my word – so I had to do those dates.
“The thing is, people were so overwhelmingly positive, and they asked me to tour PiL again. With so many people asking and with the band meaning so much to them, I couldn’t just stay on my sofa and not tour – tempting though that obviously is.”
PiL released their latest album, 'End of World', in 2023.
