Warmduscher Post New Single Top Shelf Ahead Of 'Too Cold To Hold' Release

Warmduscher have shared a new single, Top Shelf.
Built on a driving bassline and beat, the post-punk track unfurls around a dark story and serves as the final preview of the band's new album, 'Too Cold To Hold', due out through Strap Originals tomorrow (November 15).

"In Top Shelf by Warmduscher, we encounter a young woman navigating the perilous mating grounds of the urban landscape. Like a rare wildebeest in the throes of seasonal heat, she has just split from her partner and seeks solace in the embrace of a new mate.
"Yet, the primal pull of her former lover proves too potent to resist. Drawn back into his familiar grasp, they engage in a charged and illicit encounter, their movements intense, magnetic—every look and touch part of an age-old courtship ritual, teetering on the edge of instinct and temptation. The beat of the track underscores this delicate, wild dance, a soundtrack to the raw pull of desire at its most unbridled."
The follow-up to 2022's 'At The Hotspot' also includes the previously shared cuts Staying Alive, Pure At The Heart featuring Janet Planet, Cleopatras with CouCou Chloe, and Fashion Week, as well as guest spots from Irvine Welsh, Lianne La Havas, and Jeshi.
Warmduscher are currently amid a UK and European tour that heads to Newcastle tonight (November 14). They also have North American shows lined up for 2025.
