Coheed And Cambria And Taking Back Sunday Announce Co-Headline North American Tour For Summer

Coheed and Cambria (pictured) and Taking Back Sunday will team up for a co-headline North American tour in the summer.
The 25-date trek will commence on August 16 in St. Louis and wrap up on September 21 with a performance in Seattle. Support will come from Foxing and tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (January 17).
The new tour will follow Coheed and Cambria's previously scheduled co-headline The Infinite Arc North American tour with Atlanta heavyweights Mastodon in the spring. Tickets for that run of dates are already on sale.
Coheed and Cambria have also shared a nostalgic video for Someone Who Can, the latest single from their upcoming album, 'The Father Of Make Believe', due out on March 14. Introducing the driving, upbeat track, frontman Claudio Sanchez said:
"When you’re growing up, you’re perpetually trying to understand the world that’s changing around you. Over time, it’s comforting to reach the conclusion that you’ll never truly have things figured out."
The New York prog-rock band previously teased the follow-up to 2022's 'Vaxis Act II: A Window Of The Waking Mind' with the singles Searching For Tomorrow and Blind Side Sonny.
Coheed will return to the UK in July to headline 2000trees alongside PVRIS, tour mates Taking Back Sunday, Kneecap and Alexisonfire. Tickets are on sale now.
Taking Back Sunday will also appear at Las Vegas festival When We Were Young in October. They released '152', their first album in seven years, in 2023. The tour announcement follows the departure of longtime drummer Mark O'Connell.
