Deafheaven have shared details of their sixth album.
The follow-up to 2021's 'Infinite Granite' is titled 'Lonely People With Power' and will arrive on March 28, marking the Grammy-nominated band's first release for their new label home, Roadrunner Records.
Recorded with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who has previously worked with St. Vincent and M83, with mixing by Zach Weeks, it was tracked at EastWest Studios in Hollywood, California. It features vocal contributions from Boy Harsher's Jae Matthews and Interpol's Paul Banks.
Alongside the details of the record, the San Francisco natives have shared the aggressive first single, Magnolia, which finds them re-embracing ear-bleeding melodeath guitar riffs, thunderous blast beats and blackened screeched vocals from George Clarke. Head below to view the accompanying black and white performance video, directed by Sean Stout and Chelsea Jade.
Deafheaven will play US, European and UK festivals this spring and summer, including Manchester's Outbreak Fest in June. Tickets are on sale now.
