Stereophonics have announced their 13th studio album.

The Welsh rock band will release 'Make ‘em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait' through EMI on April 25, following up 2022's 'Oochya!'.

Comprising eight tracks, it's led by the newly shared first single, There's Always Gonna Be Something, which sees the band expanding on their signature guitar-led rock sound, offering rousing melodies and a catchy chorus. Jones explained:

"There’s Always Gonna Be Something is a song that could be describing the restlessness in uncertainty, struggling to arrive at acceptance. A part within all of us."

The band have also shared the record's full tracklist and artwork, which Jones said was inspired by a painting by the late French-American artist Louise Bourgeois.

"I went to New York, I visited some galleries, I saw ‘ART IS A GUARANTY OF SANITY’, a painting by Louise Bourgeois. She believed art was a form of mental healing and a way to process difficult emotions. The spelling caught me first, then the simplicity of the words etched onto a pink tile. So I tried scratching my title, inspired by my own art school teacher thirty years ago. And I loved it. I loved the simplicity of the pink. The pink album was born."

Stereophonics will embark on a North American tour that runs between March 21 and April 9, before a date in Mexico City on April 11. They'll then head across Europe before returning to the UK for their Stadium Anthems Summer '25 Tour.  This summer, they'll also headline the Neighbourhood Weekender and the Isle Of Wight Festival. Tickets are on sale now.

In 2024, Jones released 'Inevitable Incredible', his second solo album and the follow-up to 2007's 'Only the Names Have Been Changed' and 2020 live LP 'Don't Let the Devil Take Another Day', which accompanied a documentary of the same name in which Jones discusses his personal life.

Jones has also been busy releasing music under the Far From Saints moniker alongside Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker from The Wind and The Wave, with the trio putting out their self-titled debut album in 2023.

'Make 'em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait’ tracklist:
