The first performers for this year's BRIT Awards have been announced.
Little Mix's JADE, Myles Smith, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party will take the stage at the London ceremony at the O2 Arena on March 1, which will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall. The show will also be broadcast live on ITV1 and streaming service ITVX. Tickets are on sale now.
The nominations for the BRIT Awards were unveiled on January 24, with Charli XCX continuing to dominate awards season with five nods, followed by Dua Lipa, The Last Dinner Party and Ezra Collective, who all have four nominations each.
JADE is up for Song Of The Year and Pop Act, with The Last Dinner Party receiving nominations for Album Of The Year, Group Of The Year, Best New Artist and Alternative/Rock Act. Teddy Swims' breakthrough hit Lose Control has been put forward for International Song Of The Year, along with Shaboozey's A Bar Song (Tipsy). Head here for the full list of nominees.
Back in December, Smith received the prestigious BRITs Rising Star award. He is also nominated in the Best New Artist, Song Of The Year and Pop Act categories.
It was recently announced that Cat Burns, Joy Crookes, Rachel Chinouriri, Frank Turner, Nova Twins, Kasabian, Clean Bandit, Tom Walker, Soft Play and Rag'n'Bone Man will play intimate shows for BRITs Week for War Child in February and March. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
