Nile Rodgers and CHIC have expanded their summer schedule with more new shows.
The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer and his legendary band will headline the Love Motion all-dayer on August 24 at London's Crystal Palace Bowl.
The event forms part of South Facing Festival, and will also host performances from Louie Vega, DJ Dimitri From Paris, Cerrone, DJ Kirollus, House Gospel Choir and London’s own house-disco party Don’t F**k with Disco.
Rodgers said: “We are so excited to be bringing you all of the hits in an ‘all killer, no filler’ dance party set at Crystal Palace Park as part of the South Facing.”
He has also been announced a second show at Glasgow's Barrowland on August 13, and has been confirmed as a headliner for the Hitchin Priory Summer Series on August 28, Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax on August 29 and CHSq at Belfast's Custom House Square on August 31.
Tickets for all new dates go on general sale at 10am on February 28.
Rodgers and CHIC already have a busy summer ahead with concerts confirmed across Europe, including a headline set at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire on June 22 for the Nocturne Live series, a Forest Live show at Cannock Chase Forest in Rugeley on June 25, a performance at Live At York Museum Gardens on July 4 and a Glasgow show on August 12.
They'll support Duran Duran at Powderham Castle in Exeter on July 3 as part of Powderham Presents and at Chelmsford City Racecourse for the Chelmsford City Live series.
They will also appear as a special guest at Mariah Carey's newly announced show at Norfolk's Royal Sandringham Estate on August 15. Tickets for that show go on general sale at 9am on March 7.
Prior to their return to the UK and Europe, Rodgers and CHIC will perform in Japan, Chile, Argentina and Brazil in April and May.
They released their latest studio album, 'It's About Time', in 2018.
