Razorlight and The Wombats will team up for two major outdoor UK shows this summer.
The indie giants will head to the Kent coast to co-headline Dreamland Margate on August 22 as part of the Margate Summer Series. They'll then visit the market town of Hitchin to co-headline the Priory Summer Series on August 29.
They'll be joined by special guests Sunday (1994) and Talk Show for their Margate show, with support in Hitchin still to be announced. Tickets for both dates go on general sale at 10am on Friday (March 7).
Other acts already confirmed to play this year's Margate Summer Series include Scooter, Supergrass, Tom Jones, Billy Ocean, Texas, Basement Jaxx, McFly, Madness, Olly Murs, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Sugababes, and more.
Hitchin Priory Summer Series is also set to host Nile Rodges and CHIC, and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell. Tickets are on sale now.
Razorlight (pictured) will tour the UK this spring in support of their 2024 album, 'Planet Nowhere', their first full-length release to feature the band's classic line-up of Johnny Borrell, Björn Ågren, Carl Dalemo and Andy Burrows in 16 years.
They'll support James at a Plymouth Summer Sessions show on June 12, and at a Forest Live concert in Cannock Chase Forest on June 28. They'll also headline The Brit Fest on July 4, GuilFest on July 6, and Summer Nights At Caldicot Castle on August 1, ahead of an all-dayer at Darlington Arena stadium on August 23, joined by special guests Ocean Colour Scene, Jake Bugg, White Lies. Tickets are on sale now.
The Wombats, who released 'Oh! The Ocean' last month, will play UK arenas between March 18 and 26 as part of a wider European tour featuring support from Everything Everything and Red Rum Club. They'll also tour North America in the fall.
They'll headline Trentham Estate on May 29 as part of the At Trentham series, joined by Pale Waves and Red Rum Club, before a hometown show at the Pier Head on June 19 as part of Liverpool's On The Waterfront concert series. They'll also appear at Kendal Calling, Neighbourhood Weekender, Y Not? festival, The Big Feastival, and Boardmasters this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
UPDATE 17/03: The show at Hitchin Priory has moved to August 30 as The Wombats are now playing Sheffield's Rock N Roll Circus on August 29.
