The special guests have been announced for Idles' two huge outdoor shows in Bristol this summer.
The post-punk band will headline Queen Square for the Block Party double-header on August 1 and 2, joined on day one by Soft Play, Lambrini Girls and Sicaria. Day two, meanwhile, will also feature performances by The Voidz, fronted by The Strokes' Julian Casablancas, Hinds, local electronica act Grove, and Club Yeke founder and NTS Radio favourite Tash LC.
Both days will also feature homegrown DJs, plus food and drink served up by a selection of local favourite traders.
Idles released their latest album, and fifth overall, 'TANGK', in 2024. Their summer hometown dates will mark their only UK gigs of the year, though the band will play several major festivals across Europe and the US throughout the summer. They'll also support My Chemical Romance at Boston's Fenway Park in September. Tickets are on sale now.
