Babymetal Drop New Single From Me To U Featuring Poppy

Babymetal have recruited Poppy for a new single, From Me To U.
An intense fusion of metal and post-hardcore, the collaboration marks the latest track to be shared from the Japanese trio's newly announced album, 'Metal Forth', meaning "beyond metal", whic is due out through their new label home Capitol Records on June 13. Commenting on the team-up, Poppy said:
"I have been a fan of Babymetal for years and I am so happy for this song to finally be here! They have inspired me so much, enjoy 'from me to u'!"
Babymetal added: "A kawaii metal song was born from a collaboration between Babymetal and Poppy! Check out Poppy's shouts and Babymetal's dance in the Neo Tokyo setting! Kawaii is sprinkled throughout the intense sound! Kimi ni todoke!"

The follow-up to 2023's 'The Other One' will also include Babymetal's 2024 single Ratatata featuring Electric Callboy, and their 2023 track Metali!! with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, as well as collaborations with Spiritbox, Polyphia, Slaughter To Prevail, and Bloodywood.
Poppy will join Bambie Thug in supporting Babymetal on the group's debut headline arena tour of Europe this spring, which includes a show at the O2 Arena in London on May 30. Su-Metal, Moametal and Momometal will also head out for their biggest North American tour to date between June 13 and July 23, featuring support from Black Veil Brides, Jinger and Bloodywood. Tickets are on sale now.
Babmetal recently revealed further touring plans for their 15th anniversary year via a "legend map" on their official website, which features US and Japan arena shows lined up for this November and January 2026, respectively, along with gigs in Asia this September and October. Dates and venues are still to be confirmed.
