Bruce Springsteen To Release 'Tracks II: The Lost Albums' Collection Featuring Seven Unheard Records

Bruce Springsteen will release a collection of seven previously-unheard records this summer.
Titled ’Tracks II: The Lost Albums’ and due out through Sony Music on June 27, the nine LP/seven CD box set collects 82 unreleased tracks, including 74 never-before-heard songs, recorded by The Boss, 75, during chapters of his expansive career spanning 1983 to 2018.
Compiled by Springsteen, producer Ron Aniello, engineer Rob Lebret and supervising producer Jon Landau at Thrill Hill Recording in New Jersey, the albums include ’LA Garage Sessions ’83’, which links ’Nebraska’ and ’Born in the U.S.A.’, ’Streets of Philadelphia Sessions’, the shelved film soundtrack ’Faithless’, the country-leaning ’Somewhere North of Nashville’, ’Twilight Hours’, and ’Perfect World’. Springsteen said:
"’The Lost Albums’ were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released. I’ve played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I’m glad you’ll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them."
Each of the seven records will be packaged in distinct covers, while the box set comes with a 100-page hardback book featuring archival photographs and notes on each album from Erik Flannigan, plus an introduction on the project from Springsteen himself.

Springsteen and The E Street Band will return to Europe for a tour this spring, which includes three dates at Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena and two shows at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium between May 14 and June 7. Tickets are on sale now.
