Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is working on his debut solo album.
The ex-Libertine is hoping to release 'The Implant Sessions' before the year is out.
The singer told NME: "There’ll be a solo acoustic album released this year. It will differ from Babyshambles because it will just be me."
Doherty is also busy working on the new Babyshambles album, follow-up to 2005's 'Down in Albion'.
